A convicted drug dealer gets help from an unlikely source in a request for probation. Sixteen members of the Delaware County Sheriff`s Department signed a letter requesting Kenneth Connely receive probation for allegedly stepping in during an altercation between an inmate and a jailer. However, several Northeast Oklahoma drug task forces say the request is a smack in the face. Delaware County Sheriff Lendon Woodruff says he had no knowledge of the letter and now says all communications must be reviewed through him.
