Authorities identify a body found last night. McDonald County authorities have identified a body found Tuesday evening as 47-year-old Mark Tartanar of the Lawrence County. Authorities are still investigating the cause of death and what brought Tartanar to the area, but Sheriff Evenson says knowing who the victim is a start. Tartanar`s body was recovered last night in a spring off of Indian Creek. Two boys had discovered his body yesterday while they were cave exploring. Evenson says the body has been sent to Springfield for an autopsy. He expects further investigation to be conducted once a cause of death has been determined. Written By: Priscilla Mace
