Officer Suspended

Updated: January 7, 2009
One area Chief of Police says he`s been suspended without pay because he spoke out about controversy within his Police Department. Southwest City, Missouri Chief of Police Ron Beaudry says he was placed on suspension this morning until the next city council meeting on March 25th. Beaudry says he was told the suspension was due to complaints against the police department. But he believes it`s really because he spoke with ksn yesterday about an employee`s inability to drive a police car due to former DUI charge. Mayor Al Dickson tells us he has no comment into the suspension as the investigation is on-going. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
