Evans Sentenced to Federal Prison

A Southeast Kansas man will spend the next 11 years and 3 months in a federal prison. A U.S. District Judge in Topeka sentenced 35-year-old Bruce Evans of Columbus, Kansas. U.S. Attorney Jim Flory says Evans was convicted of manufacturing meth in his home, possessing materials to make meth and creating a substantial risk of harm to human life during the manufacturing process. Flory says the offenses occurred on August 12th and October 16th of the year 2000.
