Pischel Sentenced on Charges

A former Oklahoma Highway Patrol officer is sentenced for reduced child molestation charges. James Pischel of Wyandotte, Oklahoma was sentenced today to two 5-year deferred sentences. Pischell, who was once named Trooper of the Year, was charged in 2000 with second-degree rape by instrumentation, lewd molestation of a child and indecent exposure. Those charges were later reduced to two counts of assault with intent to commit a felony. Pischel was also ordered to pay court costs by the judge today.
