Updated: January 7, 2009
The trial of a man accused of murdering a four state resident has been moved. 30-year old vincent argentino has been granted a change of venue. He is charged with first degree murder. The Chicago resident was arrested April 7th in connection with the April 6th stabbing death of 25-year old Travis Williams of Neosho. Argentino allegedly attacked Williams with a kitchen knife at a friends house just north of Neosho. Williams later died from multiple stab wounds to his abdomen. Argentino is being held in the Newton County jail on a 1-million dollar bond. State law requires judges to grant a change of venue request if the county contains fewer than 75-thousand people.
