Joplin Hit and Run

A hit and run accident leads police on a high speed chase. The Joplin Police Department was put in a dangerous situation today when they persued a driver who caused not one, but two accidents. After an accident at second and Conner in Joplin, police chased the car to Maiden Lane where the driver caused the second crash. The high speed pursuit came to a close after police chased the suspect up and down Maiden Lane. In an attempt to avoid the police the man ran a red light causing several cars to wreck. The driver of the maroon Baretta never gave up on trying to get away from Police. After the rampage three people were taken to the hospital. Leaving the scene of an accident is a felony offense.
