Best Buy recalls about 31,000 Rocketfish Battery Case for the iPhone 3G/3GS.
The battery case can overheat while charging, posing a fire hazard.
This involves Model RF-KL12.
The battery case is made of black lightweight, soft-touch rubberized material designed to hold the phone securely, and comes with a built-in battery.
They were sold Best Buy stores nationwide and online from about April 2010 through about September 2011 for between $10 and $60.
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact Best Buy for instructions on returning the product and receiving a Best Buy gift card.
