New River Law

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The next time your out on the water your conduct could leave your wallet a little lighter. Driving under the influence is against the law and now McDonald County is adopting a similar ordinance on its water-ways. Drugged, drunken, disorderly conduct is no longer allowed on McDonald County`s creeks and rivers. The new law was passed last fall extra patrol will be on the water to make sure a good time isn`t interrupted by trouble makers. The minimum fine for breaking the ordinance is 25 dollars. But how much an offender will pay will be up to a judge. Written By: Kelli Baldwin
