Joplin Chase

A high speed chase through the streets of Joplin leaves one officer injured. The 45 minute chase began early Thursday morning near the corner of *B* and Byers in Joplin. Officers were attempting to pull over the driver of a pickup when he attempted to flee the scene. An officer tried to grab the keys from the truck when he was dragged about ten feet before escaping. The chase ended when officers determined it was too dangerous to continue. Police are still searching for the suspect. Written By: Jim Jackson
