A troop that has been serving our country overseas finally makes it`s way back home to the four states. The 203rd Engineering Batallion has been gone for more than a year in Iraq.
For many it was a day thay had been waiting for for 15 months, and they couldn`t wait to see their loved ones again.
More than 200 soldiers from the 203rd Engineering Batallion got a warm welcome home. They rode in by bus to Fort Leonard Wood just after 3-o`clock this Wednesday morning. For the last 15 months the troop has been serving in iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The soldier were welcomed home with a band, lots of posters, hugs, smiles, and tears of joy. Seneca native, Brian Roark`s entire family came to welcome him home. He says it`s great to see his family again.
