Triple Fatality

The accident happened late Sunday at county road 190 and Thorn road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a car driven by 76-year-old William Stefan of Golden City crossed the center line at the top of a hill and hit a car driven by 57-year-old Steven Baker of Jasper. Both drivers were killed in the crash. 63-year-old Patricia Sparlin of Jasper was also killed in the accident. 43-year-old Alice Baker and 6-year-old Alicia Haar were taken to a Joplin hospital, both are listed in serious condition.
