Miami Man Arrested

A local man wanted for threatening his parents with a handgun has been arrested. 32-year-old Billy Elmore of Miami was taken into custody yesterday in Amarillo, Texas after he arrived at the Randall County courthouse. A Sheriff`s report says elmore pointed a gun at his father and mother and pulled the trigger, but the gun jammed. His parents were not injured. Elmore has been charged with assuault with a dangerous weapon. His bond was set at 200-thousand dollars. Written By: Sarah Lonnevik
