Gift of Sight Program

Updated: January 7, 2009
October is the month for trick or treating, but its also a time when you can give something with lasting meaning. Volunteers from Lenscrafters and local Lions Clubs are going door-to-door collecting used eyewear. It`s part of their Gift of Sight Program. Collected glasses will be repaired, classified by prescription and later delivered to less fortunate people around the world. Organizers say this year the need is greater than ever. If you would like to donate a pair of old eyeglasses you may contact Lenscrafters at 417-782-9010.
