Administrators say students will get hands on experience thanks to an agreement with the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas.
Funding for the program was provided by a $3 million Federal grant through the Title III program.
Title III program director Nicholas Allen says this is a key part of making sure Labette Community College fulfills the needs of the community.
That's not all the school is doing to offer students new opportunities.
Several agreements are in place with four year colleges, like Ft. Hays State University, that would allow students to earn a bachelor's degree completely on-line.
