JOPLIN, MO - Tomorrow the group will be giving away free furniture to anyone affected by the May 22nd storm. Most of the furniture that they plan to give away was donated by Eagle members from across the country, but some will be purchased brand new depending on the needs of a family.

The group is partnering with local furniture vendors to bring victims a deal that is hard to pass up. If you come to the event this weekend and need something that is not available, the Joplin Eagles will purchase that item for you. They have a budget of $300 per family to spend on items; all that is required is a FEMA application number and a photo I.D.

The Eagles have hosted food and clothing giveaway events in the past and organizers say they are trying to keep meeting tornado victims current needs.

"We started in on doing the furniture because we know that a lot of people have been in FEMA trailers and are now moving out and getting into homes and have no furniture," says Donna Reisdorph, Joplin Eagles Lodge Vice President  The giveaway is planned for tomorrow from 12:00p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, which is located at 1321 South Main in Joplin. If you have any questions or want to check on the availability of an item call Donna Reisdorph at (417) 553 - 7739
