JOPLIN, MO -- The proceeds were donated to the Joplin Tornado First Response Fund.

St. Louis Post Dispatch Chief Photographer Jim Forbes organized the fundraiser for Joplin.  He says his goal is to keep the city's story in the headlines.  "In the blink of an eye, the tornado changed so many lives."  Forbes explains.  "We just wanted to make sure that, at least in St. Louis, it was not forgotten. Certainly down here, this will never be forgotten."

City officials say they plan to put the pictures on display at City Hall in the future.
