JOPLIN, MO -- Leaders with the United Way say her extensive grant writing background will help groups applying for aid to recover from the tornado.  Dr. Graham says her first priority is to connect with residents.  "I want to talk to the community and see where we're at."  She explains.  "See what type of services are needed, and where the gaps are.  I think we can step up and we can meet those needs."

Dr. Graham is replacing Mary Little who served as the groups executive director for the past 7 years.  Little left the position after moving out of state.
