Joplin Assault Arrest

JOPLIN, MO - A Joplin man is behind bars after an assault leaves another man critically injured. Police say Bobby J. Adkins, 56, assaulted Ronnie Flack, 50, of Joplin around 6:30 pm on April 24th. Flack was found lying inside a fence at Missouri Gas Energy at 520 East 5th Street in Joplin. He was transported to a loal hospital with a head injury. It was initially unclear whether Flack had fallen from a fence, but an investigation determined he had been assaulted. Adkins was arrested for 1st Degree Assault and is being held in the Joplin City Jail. The vicitim is currently at a Springfield hospital with life-threatening injuries.
