Rick Cicero, owner of Cicero Lawn Care in Pittsburg says his business is up about 45% from this time last year.

On an average day, he'll mow about 10 lawns, and more people are calling all the time.

In the off season, Cicero says he clears snow and leaves for his customers, but this year's mild winter left him without much work.

However, the early spring has changed that.

Another factor helping the lawn mowing industry is the falling gas prices.

On average, the cost of fuel has fallen about $0.15 in the last few weeks.
