Two People Plead Guilty to Medicaid Fraud in Southeast Kansas

Hicks will serve 60 days in jail and pay more than $13,000 in restitution to the Kansas Medicaid program.
Hodge is required to repay nearly $16,000 in restitution.
According to investigators, Hicks and Hodge submitted claims as personal care attendants for Medicaid beneficiaries, but never provided services.
Charges against eight other individuals are still pending.
