Closer Watch on Prescription Sales

BAXTER SPRINGS, KANSAS-- Kansas Governor Sam Brownback and the state's legislature add harsher measures to Senate Bill 134.

The bill monitors prescription drug sales.

The changes allow the state's prescription monitoring committee to contact prescribers and pharmacists of individuals suspected of prescription abuse.

The committee can also notify law enforcement about those same individuals.
