4th Person Dies in Plane Crash In SE Kansas

CHANUTE, KS.--A 4th person is dead from injuries following a plane crash that happened in Wilson County, Kansas yesterday afternoon.

The twin engine plane crashed in a rural area northeast of High Prairie Church near Chanute.

Kansas Highway Patrol Troopers say 5 people were on the plane that was coming from Tulsa and heading to Council Bluff, Iowa.

The crash killed the pilot, 23 year old Luke Sheets from Ephraim, Wisconsin as well as 29 year old Garret Coble from Tulsa Oklahoma, 27 year old Austin Anderson from Ringwood, Oklahoma, and 22 year old Stephen Luth from Muscatine Iowa.

22 year old Hannah Luce of Garden Valley, Texas is in critical condition in the hospital.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA are still investigating the cause of the crash.
