PARSONS, KS -- The City of Parsons wants to know how you think a million dollar project should be paid for.

City officials say many of the town's sewer lines are deterorating - causing ground water to seep into them.

The EPA ordered the city to fix the lines within five years.

The total cost is unknown but officials say it will be in the millions.

Officials are asking residents to attend one of three public meetings to share their ideas.

"Try to get people to understand what the problems are in the system and ways we can fix those at a reasonable price. The epa mandates aren't going to be cheap," says Kari West with the CIty of Parsons.

The meetings will be at Parson's municipal building at 112 South 17th street.

That's Tuesday May 22nd at 5:30 inthe afternoon and another following at 7 in the evening.

As well as May 23rd at 11:45 A.M.
