And in the afternoon thousands brought out the lawn chairs and umbrella's to enjoy live music. More than 20 bands signed up for the event and played for a large crowd well into the night. But it wasn't all about the music. Kids had a chance to ride horses, play in a bounce house, and shoot hoops as well. Convoy Of Hope Director of Media Relations Jeff Nene says the crowd seemed much happier this year. "This year there's more of a celebratory atmosphere I think." Nene explains. "People have made it that first year, and have done well. And we're going to do even better in the year to come."
Convoy of Hope volunteers are also planning on building at least 18 new houses for people who lost home's in the tornado.
