KANSAS-- A three judge federal panel is hearing testimony Wednesday that will help them decide where political boundaries in Kansas will be placed for the next ten years.
The panel is deciding the boundaries because the state legislature failed to do so this session.
The judges will set the boundaries for several elected positions, including state House and Senate seats.
If new boundaries aren't decided soon state, primary elections could be delayed.
