U.S. Senator Pat Roberts was in Parsons Thursday as part of his listening tour.
Roberts says he will make more than 100 stops on this tour to hear the concerns of the people he represents.
He says the number one concern on people's minds is money, and Roberts believes part of putting a stop to wasting cash at the national level is to take a close look at federal regulations.
Roberts took questions from the audience during Thursday's stop.
Many of those questions focused on agricultural bills before the legislature, like one that would increase crop insurance coverage.
