JOPLIN, MO. - Joplin is just one of six cities that the Shine Catholic Workcamp will be visiting this summer.
The Houston-based group is made up of about 200 high school and college students along with their chaperons. Each summer they travel around the country to serve those in need.
Today they started rebuilding efforts at a home on 22nd and Annie Baxter.
They are adding siding to the house. Students are also helping remove debris from a farm.
Thirty groups of about six people will be helping in Joplin throughout the week.
