JOPLIN, MO - Chandler Shellenbarger of Joplin was born two months early. As medical bills began to pile up, the Children's Miracle Network stepped in to ease the financial burden for his family. His condition requires the family to travel to Kansas City often to see specialists. CMN is helping them with traveling expenses.

Chandler's mother says the assistance has made a world of difference for her family in this difficult time.

"CMN Definitely got us there," says Megan Martin, Chandler's Mother. "If we wouldn't have been able to get the money from CMN to go there we would have definitely been pinching pennies big time just to get there," she added.

Baby chandler is due for one more surgery early next month. The family hopes after his hernia is removed his health will continue to progress
