JOPLIN, MO.--- Joplin's firework show scheduled for tomorrow evening is still on despite the burn ban issued in Joplin. Because of extra dry weather the Joplin Fire Department is taking extra precautions to make it a safe show. Even though, "Liberty Pyrotechnics" is putting on the display, the department's "Grass Squad" will be on site with a large water supply just in case of emergency. Firefighters will also be there to add more manpower. "Liberty Pyrotechnics" will have trained staff on site with fire extinguishers as well.

"In addition, the fireworks company will have spotters throughout the fall out to ensure if there is an issue we have people there immediately," says Dale Brooks, Joplin Fire Marshal.

The fireworks display will be at 9:45pm tomorrow night at Landreth Park.
