Before coming to Missouri, I was born and raised in Georgetown, Delaware where I attended the University of Delaware and studied Mass Communications and Georgraphy graduating in May 2008.  While attending school I held two internships at WBOC-TV 16 in Salisbury, MD and WCAU NBC 10 in Philadelphia, PA.  I was also the Student Meteorologist, Reporter, and Co-Anchor for the STN 49 News Network show that broadcasted live to the university and surrounding area.  In my spare time I was actively participating as a member of Phi Sigma Pi which is the co-ed Honors Fraternity and Lamda Pi Eta the Communications Honor Society.

Upon graduating from UD, I decided to pursue my passion for weather from an entirely different angle.  I attended Florida State University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology in April 2012.  While at FSU, I held an internship at WCTV in Tallahassee, FL and served as the Student Meteorologist and team leader for FSU Weather which broadcasted live each weekday evening.  I was also a member of the North Florida Chapter of the AMS and participated in the local and national weather forecasting competition called WXChallenge.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, the beach, traveling, skiing, photography, weather and storm chasing.  My passion for weather came from working outside at eight different golf courses over the last ten years and photographing weather at any chance I got!  I am excited to be starting my career and experiencing weather in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks!
