Blunt to Donate Military Salary

A Missouri state official called to active duty is donating his salary to charity. Secretary of State Matt Blunt says he will donate his military salary to charity while serving on active duty in the Navy. Blunt is a lieutenant in the Naval Reserve. He reported for duty this week after being called up following the terrorist attacks. A spokesman for Blunt says the republican expects to ship out by next Tuesday and likely will be sent to an overseas naval installation. Jackson says Blunt`s salary will be about $50,000 a year.
