"Because you can take great ideas and make them better," states Evian Keels, 9, Inventor.
Grant Lathrom is 1 of the teachers at the camp. He says as a kid he used to take things apart all the time.
"Probably one o the more dangerous things that I took apart the electrical outlets in the house. You name it all of my toys," states Grant Lathrom, Inventor Coach.
In this experiment the kids learned about what floats and what sinks. They have to figure a way to make this clay ball float which takes some effort. The kids all have ideas of inventions that would make their life easier. Carter Fenske is trying to make my life easier by making an invisible microphone.
"Put new wires in it and screw it in so no one could see it," states Fenske, 7.
Evian Keels, 9, is trying to make Gary Bandy's job easier by making a machine that controls the weather.
"The weather, I wish the weather could be what I wanted whenever," states Keels.
Kendall Planter, 8, wants to create a high tech fly swatter.
"With the press of a button an arm would pop out and you could put it on your pants, swat all over," says Planter.
If these inventions catch on, they could be millionaires, but not all of them want the money.
"Nothing, I don' want any money. I'll just sell stuff for free. I just don't want any money," states Planter.
