The 2002 General Election is just a little more than a year away, and political candidates are already making their intentions known. Joplin attorney Bryan Stevenson announced today he is seeking the republican nomination for the 128th District of the Missouri House of Representatives. If elected, Stevenson said he hoped to be able to build on the solid no nonsense conservative reputation of current State Representative Gary Burton. State Representative Gary Burton is unable to seek re-election due to term limitations.
