Southwestern Bell unveils their new phone book. This morning, the phone company showed off the new cover of the phone book. The cover is a picture honoring Joplins Community Clinic. The clinic provides medical and dental services for those with low income who cannot afford health insurance. Southwestern Bell is now urging area residents to drop off their old phonebooks for recycling. Once you receive your new phonebook, you can take your old phonebook to be recycled. The recycling drive will run through November 3rd. You can drop off your phone book at the Joplin Recycling Center and many other locations. If you would like more information on the nearest drop-off site, you can call the number on your 800-953-4400.
