"I've progressed. I can use my thumbs now," says Greenwood.
The focus of her exhibit spotlights interesting sayings she's heard via text message or just in conversation. She then paints the words into a piece of art.
"To communicate what I'm hearing and inspired by with everyone else," says Greenwood.
We could learn a bit from these texts like, "Please love yourself," and "Thank you."
"We don't have to count on love coming to us. We can love ourselves," says Greenwood.
Some other examples include, "Little changes makes big differences," or "Don't just do something, stand there."
"When people do come and respond to it, I love the reaction when they go, 'oh.' It speaks to me," says Greenwood.
Greenwood often sends out these positive texts to her friends.
"A woman unheard becomes unhinged. You're a married man, you know us women like to be paid attention to," says Greenwood.
Since she has such a love of language, she tries not to abbreviate when she text.
"Even when I'm texting, I just love to write a beautiful sentence, but if I'm in a big hurry, I can get brief really quickly," says Greenwood.
