WEBB CITY, MO.--- Jackie Chavez had 10 pink flamingos stolen from her Webb City front yard over night.

Her yard was "flocked" the day before by "Project Pink Flamingo." A $30 donation was made in her name and her daughter's. Her daughter died of breast cancer, and Jackie has been cancer free since 2010.

Jackie says she is shocked that anyone would do this to such a good cause.

"So, this is a sad way to start my day. I hope whoever took the birds certainly enjoys what they did because this is a horrible thing that they've done. I don't understand," states Jackie Chavez, Breast Cancer Survivor.

If you have any information about the stolen flamingos you can call the Webb City Police Department.
