COLUMBUS, KS.--- Those attending Columbus Days are in for a special treat, the Chamber of Commerce is giving historical tours of the town on a special trolley. The trolley will be making several stops through the town, including the old race track and stockyards. Operators say it's an opportunity to get a glimpse of the town's history, some of which can be hard to find without a guide. They say it's a learning experience and not just for those who've never been to Columbus before.

"Everybody that rides the trlley enjoys it, and the people that ride it are so much fun. They're interested in everything that we have in Columbus, and it's just nice to be on there, to be involved," states Sue Moore, Trolley Driver.

The trolley will be running throughout Columbus days this weekend. The chamber also uses it to give tours to local school students.
