JOPLIN, MO.--- Carol Parker has appeared on television in the four states for nearly 40 years. She will be recognized as one of Missouri Southern's outstanding alumni during homecoming activities on Saturday. Parker says she can't imagine doing anything else for a living.

"I've just enjoyed it. I just feel like I've worked with so many great people and it just makes it fun. That's why I'm semi-retired but I'm still there and I really love it," states Carol Parker.

Parker and other selected outstanding alumni will be honored during the Lion Pride Brunch in the Billingsly Student Center Ballroom on campus at 9:30 tomorrow morning.
