NEOSHO, MO.--- Richard Davidson says he has dealt with Governor Jay Nixon through both the Neosho City Government and Department of Economic Development. He believes the governor demonstrates leadership and commitment to Missouri's economic growth. Nixon has made several appearances in Neosho over the last year, from helping the city fund a water improvement project to encouraging the growth of Crowder College. Davidson says being a Republican, he doesn't always see eye to eye with the governor.

"He is somebody that when I have a question or I have an issue, he has been willing to listen. He is working for Neosho, he is working for Crowder College to help students learn better careers. To me, he is somebody I know I could trust and has proven himself for Missouri," states Richard Davidson, Neosho Mayor.

Davidson says, if Nixon is reelected, he would like to see the governor focus on growing small businesses in Missouri.
