JOPLIN, MO.--- Joe Quinn, senior account manager at the Joplin Pepsico Plant will leave for Bhorugram, India Thursday morning. He and 7 others from across the globe will visit for 30 days to educate leaders from the small village about water quality improvement techniques. Pepsico managers say this trip is an important part of the company's "performance with purpose" mission and commitment to expanding global leadership opportunities.

"After the tornado in 2011 I watched so many people come to our community and make a big difference in our community, and this was that opportunity for me to give back to the world and thankfully pepsico chose me to go and work on this project," states Joe Quinn, Pepsico Sr. Account Manager.

This is the 2nd year Pepsico leaders have participated in this type of international endeavor. Last year's trip was to Ghana in Africa.
