JOPLIN, MO.---  Superintendent CJ Huff, high school principal Kerry Sachetta, and several students proudly accepted 10,000 dollars from Northpark Mall this morning. The money was awarded to the mall after winning two awards from the International Council of Shopping Centers. Northpark earned this prestigious industry recognition for opening a donation center inside of the Old Navy store, and for converting an old department store into the new Joplin High School.

"Everything we do is for the kids, and what CBL Properties has done, what this community has done, what the volunteers that have come to Joplin have done for us over the last 16 months, you can't even put it into words and at the end of the day it's our kids that benefit," states Dr. CJ Huff, Joplin Schools Superintendent.

Huff adds that each donation goes a long way in helping the school's general rebuilding fund.
