Project Releaf Joplin

JOPLIN, MO.--- More than 25 people from Ameriprise Bank came to town to replace trees which were lost in the May 22nd tornado. It's called 'Project Releaf'. The volunteers planted more than 50 trees at 18 homes in Joplin and Duquesne. Organizers say they are happy to do their part in helping the area recover.

"We grow the trees. We give them away for free. We've been doing that for almost 20 years now, but we just felt like it was imperative that we stepped in and did what we could," states Donna Coble, Execetive Director, Forest Releaf of Missouri. 

Another group of volunteers will be in town tomorrow replacing trees at different places in the disaster area.
