Updated: January 7, 2009
A local fire district is placing a bond issue on the November ballot. The board of directors for the Redings Mill Fire Protection District has placed a bond issue for just over $968,000 before voters on the November 6th ballot. The bond will be used to add a sixth station to the southern portion of the district. Plus it will be used to remodel three existing stations and the replacement of existing apparatus that is in need of retirement. Several town meetings will be held during October to explain in detail what the money will be used for and why. For further details and information contact Chief Andy Nimmo at 417-624-2715.
