WEBB CITY, MO.--- Don's Cold Storage and Logistics broke ground today on a new 115,000 square foot facility in the Joplin-Webb City Industrial Park. Governor Jay Nixon joined with other state and local leaders to help turn the first shovels of dirt. Company Co-owner, Don Coenen says Joplin was chosen because of the nature of the people who would work there.

"They come from that farming background. They're used to a long, hard day. They understand the value of an honest day's work for an honest day's wages," states Don Coenen.

The plant is expected to employ about 35 people by next summer, with expansion anticipated.
