JOPLIN, MO.--- The Joplin Recycling Center on West "A" Street made the switch to fall hours. They will be open for 4 hours less each week. Organizers say since there are fewer hours of daylight in the fall and winter, the center switches to more abbreviated hours to avoid people being at the center after dark. Under these new fall hours the recycling center is open from 2 until 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 9 a.m until 1 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
