No-Call Law Costing Violators

Missouri`s no call law is costing many violators. The latest fines of $162,000 will be shared by 17 telemarketers found to have violated the state`s no-call law. Attorney General Jay Nixon says fines collected from telemarketers since the law took effect in July brings the total amount of fines to $430,000. More than 800,000 residential phone numbers representing two million Missourians have been placed on the no-call list.
