JOPLIN -- Members of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #27, R&R Trucking and Qboda Mexican Grill loaded donations into a semi trailer Saturday morning. To donations will be taken to the east coast to help in recovery efforts following hurricane Sandy. People started arriving at 9AM, bringing clothes, supplies and food that will be taken to New York once the trailer is full. Community members say it was their duty to help another community recover after the way thousands helped following the Joplin tornado. If you would like to donate items, you can call the Fraternal Order of Police at (417) 629-8720.
