PARSONS, KS--- The incident happend at 1810 Morton in Parsons. Police found a 31-year-old man who had been hit by a car, causing a severe leg injury. The victim was transported to a local hospital in Joplin, Mo. Officers say a fight began when a suspect tried to set the victim's vehicle on fire with the victim still inside. Police arrested a 21-year-old male suspect. He was being held in Parsons City Jail. Expected charges include, Aggravated Battery, Attempted Aggravated Arson, and Criminal Damage to Property.
