Update: Kansas Jump Start Convenience Stores ReOpen

TOPEKA, KS---The business assets have been released to owners, and the stores can re-open.

This morning, Kansas Department of Revenue and officers from Altamont, Chetopa, Coffeyville, Independence, Neodesha, and Pittsburg Police Departments seized the business assets of TAS Group which owed over half a million dollars in state sales taxes.

Officers seized all known bank accounts, on-site cash, business inventory and personal property assets belonging to the owners. The Jump Start Markets, were sealed closed and the assets will be sold at public auction to pay the taxes owed.
